My beagle likes cats but it's hard for her to meet them.
She strolls up and the cats either freeze, skulk away or threaten to scratch her.
Where can she meet a friendly cat?

@OffKilterProduction lol reminds me of snoopy who was always afraid on the cat next door.

I had to read the comments to check that they are both still alive. Your sad music makes it seem like one of them have died or something. Damn.

Both Jenny and Ernie are very much alive, happy and thriving. Thank-you so much for asking! Simple Gifts" was written by Elder Joseph while he was at the Shaker community in Alfred, Maine. The tune was written by Joseph Brackett (1797–1882) who first joined the Shakers at Gorham, Maine, when his father's farm helped to form the nucleus of a new Shaker settlement.[3] The song speaks of gratitude to God for His simple gifts to us.

Ernie (the cat) arrived as a six-week old kitten, and Jenny (the Beagle) adopted him as her own. They shared the dog bed for a long time. Ernie is now grown up and more independent, but he still sometimes cuddles with Jenny.
