While almost every guitarist has at the very least played around with reverb and delay effects, ring modulation is something that you won't come across nearly as often. Moog's MF102 Moogerfooger series Ring Modulator pedal, however, is such a beautiful stompbox that it begs to be used.

By multiplying two different signals (resulting in the sum and difference between the two), ring modulators are able to produce a very unorthodox output, and the MF102's capabilities make way for some pretty out-there sounds.
