apache just completed an acid job on this well, she's back up to her 250 dec/day flow rate. this year'll be 30th anniversary of the blowout.

The only reason that Edmonton didn"t have to be evacuated was because they got lucky with the wind direction. This was a very sour blowout.

lodgepole is 30 km southwest ish from drayton valley, the blowout signs are still on the two sites

@iloveapich Lodgepole is up near Edmonton kind of. I work up near there often, there's lots of wells up that way.
