This brass marble stirling engine is the second engine of my own design.
The idea was taken from several other video's.
It took quite some time and many changes before it ran, but now it runs smooth and starts up easily.
The power strokes (2 per revolution) are clearly visible due to the short stops of the flywheel during operation.

  • how long it can run?

  • The burner capacity is 4.5 cc and this will keep the flame burning for 14 minutes.

That is a very, very good looking machine.

A lot of time spent crafting it I bet?!

I would say I particularly like the flywheel and the cage holding the cylinder.... But then I'd certainly have to say I like the main mounting stantions and the burner design..... I'd best just say I really like the whole thing :-)

    Thank you for showing it.

    Ralph.
