A brief introduction to Soul Ages:

Excerpt below is from "The World According to Michael" by Joya Pope
Copyright of Emerald Wave Publishing

As we continue through our thread of lifetimes, copiously gathering experiences, learning lessons, and fulfilling agreements, an evolutionary process transpires and this course of development is called Soul Age. There are five soul ages that we progress through during our cycle on the physical plane.

Infant souls deal with issues of survival; Baby souls have a need for structure and tend to live according to beliefs based on dogma, such as religion; Young souls are success oriented and set high standards of personal achievement; Mature souls are relationship oriented and tend to gravitate towards emotional drama. Old souls try to seek the larger perspective of life and have less interest in playing the material game.

Infant souls learn through suffering.
Baby souls learn through pain.
Young souls learn through losing.
Mature souls lose through anguish.
Old souls learn through terror.

No soul age is better or worse than any other soul age; each simply occupies a different seat and different perspectives upon the theater of life.

There are always some transcendental souls on the planet; in a time of change like the present there are many. Some, like Sai Baba, Meher Baba, Yogananda, Babaji, Rumi, St. Francis, Pope John XXIII, or Ghandi, obtain wide recognition for their teachings, while others are monumental influences on their communities, but do not receive global recognition.

Infinite souls are the manifestation of All-That-Is, of the Tao. The entire universe is consciously encompassed in the one body of the Infinite soul. The Infinite soul is self-aware and does have superhuman abilities. This soul usually enters, by prior agreement, into a person who is seventh level Old or Transcendental. The energy of the Infinite soul is so great that were they to be born into a human body and dwell consistently in it, the body would not last long. The Infinite soul may enter later in life as for Jesus and Buddha or come in and out as it did for Krishna and Lao Tsu. These souls are always noticed, always teach oneness and love.

An update of the Transcendental and Infinite Soul designations have been included in this version of An Introduction To Soul Ages for clarification purposes, based upon the following excerpts:

MFM - page 185 - "Mohammedanism, of course, has its roots in a manifestation of the Transcendental Soul...."THE IS [Infinite Soul) MANIFESTED THROUGH PHYSICAL FORMS OF LAO TSU, SRI KRISHNA, SIDDHARTHA GAUTAMA, AND JESUS — NO OTHERS. THE TRANSCENDENTAL SOUL MANIFESTED THROUGH SOCRATES, ZARATHRUSTRA, MUHAMMED, GANDHI."

[A post-production note:

The inclusion of the image which includes the text, "I Am An Old Soul" was added as a generic statement pertaining to all old souls, collectively, and was not intended as a personal statement, for those who may have wondered. I just thought it was a cool picture to include in the old soul section of the video when I came upon it in my image search.] :-)

  • Thank you for your kind comment on my video Victoria. You nailed it spot on the money...I was definitely wanting to introduce the concepts on more of a feeling tone level. I appreciate your sensitivity towards that effort. :-) Happy thanksgiving to you, and warm wishes, Terri

  • Thank you, Mystery Woman. I appreciate your thoughtful comment on my video. The concept of soul ages can serve to help us better understand how some of those floating puzzle pieces fit together in life. My history is not at all unlike your own, and it put me on a spiritual search that has opened many doors over the years. I wish you all the best blessings along your own path of spiritual discovery and in your healing journey. You are doing good work; keep up the good fight, dear lady. :-)

  • @flower1921 aboriginals are the oldest souls you can get....they are the wisest and most spiritual as are native americans....If we had allowed life to be according to these indigenous people, life on earth would be as it was planned.....

  • @discipulus77 with that I didn't think that the obriginals are infant souls - I actually think it's the other way around.

  • @discipulus77 I agree - sometimes the classification are a bit "racist" and "conformists" - however I do believe that some souls are more intelligent than others so to speak.

  • Aboriginals, infant souls?? you serious???

  • thank you so much.

    namaste

  • Thank you for this :)

  • Thank you. Although I'm not sure about the babies/infants nearly all being brown, tribal peoples. Many old souls choose to be the wise ones in such cultures.

And one I didn't see... Mother Teresa?

    Namaste

  • "You cannot change what's over ... but only where you go."

"The road that leads to nowhere ... the road that leads to you."

"Pilgrim, it's a long way ... to find out who you are."

Soothing words of truth ... thank you for putting this up. Thank you.
