Sorry to disappoint you, OP, but this series would NEVER be turned into a film. It couldn't be. It's too verbal, too cerebral. And WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long to be a film, even a trilogy. It'd be like over 9000 films and people can't pay attention for ... ooh, a dust bunny!!

@ara9ond But the books are being turned into a film, a trilogy I believe. But it's being directed by Roland Emmerich who's a supremely shitty director. He will ruin my beloved Foundation Series. And for that I will never forgive him.

@TheAguilaCommander I read those books decades ago, so I won't hold my breath for the Hollywood treatment. I think it would make a great franchise though.
