Looking for a reason for this happening.

It can be:

Too high manifolds temperatues (peak 70, avg 54)

Lag of oil pressure (Stock pressure switch indicates up to 3s loss at low RPM, happening some 10% of a session)

Serverely sodding. Has been running a far too rich map for some time. This was the first time it ran a working map and then this startet after ~5min...

  • The driveshaft bearings. Probably it was insufficient lubrication. By some miracle nothing was seriously broken and we where able to rebuild the engine.
