I never forget when I first turned my newly bought 7" Love Games and heard Fortytwo on the b-side. I was just 15, but blown away about how funky it was! Since that day in 1981 Level 42 was my fav band. Great memories.
This live version is even more funky than the studio version, thanks for uploading.

Never heard these really old tracks before, but after listening to them i can understand why both Boon and Phil left L42. At the same time. This has got both experimential- ,jazz-and very mych playfullness in it , something wich disappeard with the years. I don´t know why they left, but that could be one of the reasons. Wish us back to when we alowed ourselves to explore more in music ways. Music nowadays is so frigging boring. If you don´t search hard. Back then it was all around you. THANX!
