BBC2 'Liquid Gold' Mock ident

Here is a mock ident, made in Blufftitler (Cropped in vegas so no one knows I have the lite ver.) made to fit with the BBC2 idents of 2000 and early 2001 (Although the music is from Paint, the first BBC2 ident in the 91-01 style)

Basically, the 2 emerges from a vat of liquid gold, hence the name. Any similarities of television idents of other networks are purely coincidental...

Did you also considered using the Shadow music for an ident?

They should use this as a proper ident, the filmed idents BBC2 currently use don't look nearly as good as CGI idents. You should send this off to the BBC, see what they make of it.
