It's about time we had a video for the Coast Guard and this one makes the wait worthwhile! It was made by Brian Shajari, a Port Security Specialist in the Coast Guard Reserves, who goes to college when not called for active duty. He tell me he used Windows Movie Maker 2 for the editing and found the material on several Coast Guard websites and from some friends. I think the music choice is perfect using "Somewhere I Belong" by Linkin Park. Brian worked on several versions of this video and this final edit goes prefectly to the music. There are high quality pictures and video of various Coast Guard units in action that most people have never seen before. Hopefully more people will have a chance now to see what a great force our US Coast Guard and Coast Guard Reserve provides for us at home and overseas!

i was thinking about joining the coast gaurd...im not really interested in going to alaska, so would it be POSSIBLE to stay within your state? example; i live in nyc so would i be able to stay in ny?.....thanks
