@rulzah1985 I loved LaToya that season and thought she should have won, but I think Melinda Doolittle is the best contestant ever.

I know there is a lot of talent this year (2011), but looking back at all of these idols....damn they were good! Especially Latoya, I don't know any girls this season that could hit notes like this!

JHud had the power, LaToya had the versatility, and Fantasia had the soul. Together they were the three best vocalists that have ever graced the American Idol stage, IMO.

This is the reason American Idol is on the decline - they're trying to get stupid bohemian Taylor Swift clones and they've completely abandoned their search for flawless vocalists like this. LaToya, Jennifer, and Fantasia are the three best singers this competition ever saw as far as I'm concerned.

This is just my opinion: But i think Latoya is the BEST pure vocalist they have EVER had on IDOL, i was so mad when she got voted off, that was the last season i ever watched lol..
