Canary in the Mine--Speech by David Kirkham at the Salt Lake Tea Party

Speech by David Kirkham on 6 March 2009 at the Utah State Capitol. When David Kirkham heard Rick Santelli say he was going to throw a "Tea Party" because of all the bailout boondoggles, and pork "Tea Parties" started springing up all over the country. He waited for days and when one didn't show up in Utah, he couldn't take it any longer and threw one himself. This is the speech he gave at the rally. David Kirkham and his brother Thomas Kirkham have a unique perspective on the path America has taken towards Socialism. They started a car manufacturing company in an old MiG fighter factory in Poland and have seen the end of the road of Socialism. How did FDR lead the States out of the Great Depression? By spending and putting America back to work? The USA is a nation that continues to attract talented people from around the world, as well as producing many talented people from the schools and universities. It is these people that will pull America out of the depression, the government and the bankers may hinder them but in the end the strength of the people will be the revial of the USA. There is no doubt that government is not the solution. They are PART of the problem,

Their failure to regulate, contain and punish the cheaters on Wall Street and the Banking Industry speaks volumes. The bail out money did not go to the PEOPLE that needed it, but to the ASSHOLES that caused it. All at the hands of our government.

I don't agree with taking money from the rich to give to the poor, but the PEOPLE KNOW THAT THE RICH STOLE THEIR WEALTH BASED ON A POSITION OF POWER/INFLUENCE.
