  • Edie: I'm sorry this video doesn't meet your high standards. It is simply a video-taped lecture at the University of California, Berkeley. Understanding the failures of the "Green Revolution" is important, because the Gates Foundation and the World Bank are planning to extend the GR to Africa. It is important to weigh the pros and cons of a "Green Revolution" in Africa.

    Best,

The Institute for Food and Development Policy (Food First)

  • - Why do organizations with important messages put up such bad videos?

    - Why doesn't Google start a program on Youtube of video

    tutorials?

    - A how-to at different levels of expertise and equipment expense?

    - This video offers >

    - Bad visuals > dark talking heads

    - Bad self-indulgent script, no starting frame-work for the topic, half-way between a borrowed Power Point and winging it like rambling at a party.
