"I Could Feel The Whole World Turn Round"

When I first saw you
this strange kind of feeling
set my head a-reeling
Like I hit the ceiling.
The same thing happened to me then, baby.
Something kind of crazy
and everything went hazy.
Lightning and thunder shook the ground.
And I could feel the whole world
turn round underneath me.
I could feel the whole world turn round.

My, have you
never been set on fire?
Burning with desire
growing higher and higher.
Like on a funny fair big wheel stopping
when you are to topping,
The you feel it dropping
Rising and heaven falling down.
And I could feel the whole world
turn round underneath me.
I could feel the whole world turn round.

I took my breath
as though Ive been running.
Quite completely stunning,
holy, overcoming.
And in a funny way
it seemed frightening.
Tension and a hardening
Thunder and the lightning
And Ive grown the singer who wrote that song.
And I could feel the whole world
turn round underneath me.

I could feel the whole world
turn round when youre near me.
I could feel the whole world turn round.

I could feel the whole world
turn round underneath me.
I could feel the whole world
turn round when youre near me.
I could feel the whole world turn round.

  • ROD STEWART and his first band !

un des EP les plus rares !

  • @tonyhorn I cant remember if Peter Bs Looners came before or after Shotgun Express. Got a feeling the 'Looners' came first but it was a long time ago! Mick Fleetwood & Peter Green were in the Looners too. They all did go on to better things xcept poor Pete Bardens who died far too young. Plenty of talent there!

  • Like everyone else, I am so glad to see this uploaded. It was played quite a bit on pirate radio but like so many wonderful records missed out because the BBC Light programme controlled the charts. Thank you.

  • @phddddd Sorry i didn't get back right before now. As you were there, you lucky devil you, what can i say? I thought that i was correct but i bow to your being there. I hate it when i think i'm right and i'm actually not. Ta for straightening me out, i should've acknowledged this sooner. All the best.

  • i love peter and this is a real treat pre fleetwood mac this is classic thank you very much as i collect vinyl and ive been waiting along time to here the shotgun express

  • @Harmonicajello Not when I saw them in a pub in Bethnal Green.

  • @phddddd Are you sure? He might've covered sometimes but i think Dave Ambrose was on bass.
