How would you suggest tuning a board that is going to be used predominantly in the park but both sending bigger kickers and jibbing? My last board had completely rounded edges and I felt like I had little or no control esp. on icier days, which I the east coast sees a lot of. Also, would a 2 deg bevel be a better option than a light or complete detune as it keeps a sharp edge on the board?

What if you don't have a metal hardware filer? Can you use a filer used for fingernails?

@Junkboy692 Never tried a nail file before, but i am guessing it wont work or it would take a really really really really long time... Your local snowboard shop, local hill or even your next door neighbor might have file one you can use.

So I plan to detune my edges for more park riding for now. But, I am mostly a pow rider. If I detune then sharpen and go back and forth, will I eventually loose my edge together after some time?

@foreverforum260 YES you will loose all the steel edge if you plan to try to go back and forth...BEVEL your base edge...we're releasing an updated version of this vid soon, stay tuned (pun)...
