Back before they nerfed PUP soloing diabolos prime, you could go in and deploy sharpshot or x-waker frames to skill up ranged or magic without any danger for 30 mins, since actions taken by the puppet wouldn't cause diabolos to aggro. Was possible to solo diabolos this way as well, but it got tricky because if you didn't do anything he'd regen. I duoed with another pup at least a dozen times though.

I personnally do something a LOT easier and less boring than this.. simple go find some worms with a /sub able to silence, and silence them while ur pet is /deploy on it... ur pet will always stay in range so no personal hits and, since the worm cant move and cast (due to silence) will just get the hits. i did that until my pet cap @ my 75'. Doing what u do on that vid. merits a real courage because of /wait 30s and chance to skill on the single hit ur pet will do, if not missed..

Interesting tactic. =] I'd be careful of posting videos'screenshots of yourself with Windower active, however. 've heard stories of people getting banned for 3rd-party program usage based off screenshots with Windower elements visible.

yeah.. if you love wasting the entire day to skill up ;( or you can just /war or /dnc and voke off your pet during the whole fight? (with pet enhancing of course)

Another alternative, if you have a 50+ job(preferably melee) /PUP and go fight Colibri and Ladybugs in East Ronfaure(S). Do enough damage so that you're positive you can keep hate off your auto. Deploy auto to attack the mob while the mob is trying to attack you. Skilled up my automaton 1-40 this way.

Yeah that works up to level 37... same problem of level syncing. This is more for the 50+ player with gimpy skills trying to get ranged up there.
