The ending of The Final Cut was weak, but I personally think that The Final Cut was better than To Play The King, but not as good as House of Cards.

Diane Fletcher played the notorious Caterina Sforza in the BBC's "The Borgias", so this is a very apt role for her.
Francis Urquhart should have taken lessons from Cesare Borgia on how to handle her....
