Can you tell me how it is that spray foam insulations are misconceived as a better insulation? I have seen 5 star homes with r-24 ish sprayed onto the roof deck? The surface of the envelope increases because they insulate the roof deck instead of ceiling, the conditioned space increases, because now they have a cool attic in the summer, warm in winter. Those are all INFERIORITIES, yet dingleberry raters have tried to tell me spray foam is better.........never can tell me HOW?
