  • update to logic 9. It has the very cool "bounce in place" feature so you can easily convert your tracks to audio and close out of the memory hungry 3rd party plug ins

  • I had never sucked a horse cock yet! I can't speak from experience like you...Muwahahaha :-))

  • Thanks!

  • yea I need to start using that bounce in place feature more but I like to go back and edit the midi regions alot :[ Probably just going to get an mbp with 8gb ram.. the refurbished deals on apple are awesome right now.. my g5 kills huge projects.. its old but the 8gb ram is beast! Love some of your piano stuff btw

  • oh thats kind of heavy... haha. What I like to do is, when I have a Midi Track, and have the way I want it, I convert it to Audio Track, and it helps.

  • Whatsy your definition of very hard to overload? This last song I made the answer was 45 tracks, lost of soft synths, lots of audio, lots of routing through the fantom, then lots of plugins. It also depends on the soft synths Im using. Rob papen's predator and multiple instances of NI Massive / FM8 / Absynth running concurrently help break it. Isnt that hard to overload with me lol

  • weird... I have a Macbook Pro 2.4 GHz Inter Core 2 Duo, with 3GB RAM OSX Tiger, and I have Logic 8, and I use a LOT of plugins. I have some songs with 7-8 guitar tracks using IK Multimedias Fender and/or Amplitube 2. A lot of midi tracks with IK multimedia SampleTank 2.5, Miroslav, Sampletron, EZ Drummer, NI B4II, and loads of FX and it's VEEEERY hard to overload:)

  • good to hear. my macbook pro 2.6 core 2 duo with 4gb ram top outs with basic recording on logic 8. overloads easily, very frustrating.
