  • Is Martin from England? He speaks in a different way if you compare him to the usual New Yorker

  • Yep. The classes are in Croydon, London, Englaland.

  • nice tutorial but more light please it's so dark in there

  • where can we watch the next video and how long the sifu has experience in learning and teaching ?

  • Wow, awesome video. I've done karate in the past and wanted to pick up martial arts again. I'm definately going to study wing chung, looks great. :)

  • chinaboxer is better

  • If anyone is interested in viewing some other Wing Chun lessons, Master Wong has posted a large number of them. His delivery is sometimes unique!

  • Thanks wackers1981 I will have a look.

  • Thanks for posting that. I appreciate it.

  • If you wanna understand Wing Chun, My Sifu ALAN GIBSON who is part of the wing chun fediration and was also taught by Grand Master IP CHUN for 15 yrs or so. Look for his books (Why Wing Chun Works) or dvds EVEN on here YOUTUBE He is great at explaining things.

  • I'm one of Sifu Martin's students and to be honest, I have never had to use anything beyond the initial pre-fight to prevent any further conflict as Martin's teaching has given me tremendous confidence in my ability to defend myself and understand the psychology of an attacker. There are also other students whom i know very well that have been left little choice by an aggressor and have used their training to end a fight with controlled aggressive techniques. It's made for a 'street fight'

  • Can I ask if you are aware of any instances of your students protecting themselves with Wing Chun and how they fared?

  • I have been trawling books dvd's and the web for around a year now (maybe I should have just gone to a class!) looking for something explaining Wing Chun and this really is the best exposition I have come across for people new to the marial arts and self defence. It contains everything I wanted to know and has helped me to make a choice from the bewildering array of styles out there. The teaching style really was excellent; clear, concise, logical and the demonstrations were great.
