By the way, I should state a disclaimer that during my entire 'stay' at SLC, I was in the midst of a severe clinical depression which began in high school, and later morphed into undiagnosed bipolar disorder the last 2 years @ SLC. It's a miracle I even graduated.
So, I shouldn't be so judgmental about this. If I had been in this room, it might have been a welcome and humorous break from hours of study.

Oh, that is satisfying to hear -- but I finally consider those years to be only mildly relevant to where I am today, and that could be true for any school (and it just happens). I am taking the most amazing, practical classes in Interior Decorating and Creative Nonfiction at a local vocational school in Asheville, NC, and the writing teacher is much more experienced and helpful than the one I had at SLC!
If you were at Yale, you could be taking a course with Tony Blair:)

Oh, I love him. He's a fantastic performer.
I've booked him in Connecticut before, it was stellar.
I'm just throwing a fun joke, maybe he'll see it.
:) Oh, and "coolscrnname", we were having fun, our song wasn't that great, but check out the other schools' songs. If you're taking this seriously, then no wonder you had no fun as a student. Alone time is nice though.

This is so infantile and, once again, reminds me of those horrible days as a student at Sarah Lawrence. . .I would get stuck in rooms with people like this, have find a polite excuse to leave, and go somewhere like the library because my roommate was in our room with her girlfriend.
