Electrolux XXX Refurbishment

Here's the first project from my workshop, a cleaned-up and buffed-out Electrolux Model XXX. That's all it needed, to be cleaned and polished. The motor is in perfect running order. The "before" machine is in the exact condition that the "after" machine WAS, before I cleaned it up.

Hello, no, Mother's Polish etc. won't really do the job on deep tarnishing; you need the brute force of a high-speed polishing wheel along with commercial-grade cleaning and polishing compounds.

That's amazing. Can you please give a little more info on the polishing process and what abrasives, polishing compounds, etc. were used? I am trying to clean up the family Kirby Classic III, and polishing with Mother's aluminum polish by hand made it better, but nowhere near the mirror finish like I have seen here and elsewhere on youtube.
