Well everyone has these good alt. lives, but charlie was still an addict, and Locke still needed a wheelchair, :/ I wish they could've gave everyone a better alt. life, after all they've been through.

I tried to explain these episodes to my sister and why they were different. She's never seen lost. She thinks I'm crazy.

@LoneStarTom71 agreed apart from one thing... You always need a second bottle for 'medicinal' purposes ;)

Time travel was actually first mentioned in Series 2. It came into Series 3 and was confirmed in Series 4. Time travel was not also a narrative, but also a means of story-telling. I loved the whole travel in time.

@itspeejay yeah, the main writer who had done most of the writing for the first 3 seasons left after season 3, and they hired a large team of writers to fill in the story from there... like i sayd, i liked the show when it was a survival show, when they wer living in stick huts and shooting it out with the natives.. but then it took a wierd turn, into some religious garbage... and the end.... i cant fuckin believe i watched that show for 6 years, for 1 of the shittest endings in history

@101andrewj it never was a plane crash survival show, its had weird stuff since the beginning, the monster, lockes healing, whispers, ghosts, dreams, visions etc and they didnt change writers half way through. Also the time travel came into it in season 3 not season 4.

@101andrewj I only liked it BECAUSE it wasn't a generic plane crash survival show. And it stopped being that 1/2 way through season one.

@LoneStarTom71 i thought this show was great, but when it turned from a plane crash survival show, mid season 4 to a time traviling alternate reality bullshit plot.... i thought it got really gay, and the ending was GARBAGE.... it sucks when u change your writers mid series

jimmy Kimmel had an interesting theory. He said JAck died when Rose told him to, "let go". At that point Jack passed into the afterlife that we all saw throughout the entire season 6.
In "Pilot" Cindy gives Jack two bottles of vodka. Jack puts one in his pocket and drinks the other. After the crash he uses the one in his pocket to sterilize the gash in his back before Kate sews it closed. In the alternate reality, he doesn't need the second bottle because the flight never crashes. This is the most clever show in television history.

@DiginURGrav3 it's intentionally different to the pilot. remember, this is an alternate reality (the plane doesn't crash) so there's no reason why all the details have to be exactly the same as before.
