@BigSean1992 The height of the gas block gas tube inlet is lower then where the tube enters the barrel nut.

@treverlid87 Mine is an Armalite M15A4 SPR and was $999. The SPR, incase you didn't know, stands for special purpose rifle and is optics ready. This came with a railed gas block and upper as opposed to the standard M4 style front sight and carry handle. This option increased the price a bit. Also, I purchased mine at a local gun store so you may be able to find one online for less. Hope this helps...
