@Keruaran Macs are over-priced and brake too easily. Don't judge, I used a mac for a few years, and I hated every moment I had it. PC's run quick as long as you don't download a lot of crap :)

@catolupus LOL, i know thats what i was thinking. I mean theres so many free online sites/tools to do what wave does, and they do it better b/c they target a narrower market where as wave is like trying to synch in all common communication forms into one, I'm a bit weary of this google technology.

No, it doesn't. I use both Firefox and Chrome on my PC and have never had any problem with either being slowed by Google Wave. Nor does my computer get slower in general.
Maybe you have a virus.

@flyingbeagles It doesn't slow down your computer, its completely web based. How does a web app slow down your computer? Oh wait... do you use Windows? Just about anything will slow down Windoze...

I've been using it for a few months and I think Wave is actually quite revolutionary. Furthermore it wont be "demanding" forever. The first email that was ever sent, around 40 years ago, crashed the system it was sent from (if I remember correctly).
Food for thought.

I see alot of server jams, mass spam, and 500 error messages coming.
Didn't he say its real demanding on servers, I can imagine what its like for the poor dude with the old pc.

This is nice, but it's not right. A wave is not a new take on e-mail. It's a new take on synchronizing our current ways of communicating via internet, in every way.
A wave is a platform for any type of communication. E-mail is a very small piece of that. It's like saying that a rectangle is a square.
