Seviya Kheer

This is a easy to prepare yummy Indian dessert that tastes delicious when served either warm or cold.
Enjoy this rich and creamy dessert flavoured with the sweet aroma of cardamom!!!

Serves - 3 or 4

Vermicelli - 1/4 cup
Milk - 3 cups
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Cashew(Chopped) - 4
Raisins - 8
Cardamom Powder - 1/8 tsp or a pinch
Ghee(Clarified Butter) - 2 tsp

Procedure :

Step 1 : In a wide pan add ghee, ligtly toast the cashews and raisins till they are golden brown.Keep them aside.
Step 2 : Fry the vermicelli stirring continously on low heat till goleden in color.
Step 3 : Add boiled milk, sugar and cook for 10 to 15 min on medium heat stirring in between till the semiya float on the top of the milk mixture and semiya is cooked.
Step 4 : Add cardamom Powder and the roasted nuts and raisins and boil for another 2 min.
Step 5 : Rest the mixture for atleast 10 to 15 min before serving.
Step 6 : Serve it warm or cold.. Enjoy!!!
