  • Has a gay person ever demanded of YOU to give up rights? Has a gay person ever mistreated YOU? Has a gay person ever forced YOU to believe how YOU should live your private life?

Who are YOU to demand second class citizenship for OTHERS? Want to live in restricted ways? DO IT! Nobody is running YOUR life for you, so stop sticking your bigoted nose into what's none of YOUR business!

What if EVERYBODY was a hate obsessed bigot?

You are NOT serving society with your hatred.

  • "But the mother fuckers say we can't"

This poems is so beautiful. I cried in front of the rest of my Writing class when my teacher played this.

  • @thursdaysrecords1 okay i didn't read what you wrote but please stop with the caps.

  • @howmanycharacterscan Compare YOUR wisdom to my original "poem".

Compare YOUR righteousness with that of any compassionate, intelligent human being.

Compare YOUR character to that of anyone whose only "flaw" is NOT thinking with the same hateful and slefish mind.

You're in your own little world where nothing really matters, excpet your delusion of being "better" by virtue of your faith-based hatered for anyone who is "different".

Enjoy! Nobody wants any. More for YOU!

  • @multitalentino well i hate to burst your bubble but of course the answer to the top few questions are all no, but only because they never were a majority and given the choice to.

but that aside this is a nice poem.

  • I'm a lesbian. I know exactly how this feels. I cry everytime I hear it. Love Andrea Gibson. I'm also a poet. But I will never be as good.

  • I remember first hearing this poem and being amazed, and then I remember the few eyebrows I raised when I posted it to Facebook and memorized it in two days because my cousin thought I was "coming out". I'm straight. And I was completely dumbfounded as to why I couldn't enjoy a lesbian poet's piece of art without being considered gay myself. Hopefully this time around in my generation people will open up their minds. Rock on, Andrea.

  • так быстро говорит, нихрена не поняла

    Переведите кто-нить?

  • That was ... ... "amazing" doesn't quite cover it.

    Thank you for existing.
