@xsmile007 front handspring is a straight position that u can try easy-ly and the yamashita is a pike position that is a conflict than handspring xD

Just wondering, but what exactly is the difference between a front handspring and a Yamashita? Why is one more difficult than the other?

With the Yamashita you pike your body and then re-extend it before landing, whereas the handspring remains extended for the whole of the vault. The Yamashita is more difficult, but not by much.
