    Mendelssohn's music was banned during the Nazi era--i.e., POSTHUMOUSLY, and the statue of him in Leipzig was removed and lost forever. The Nazis banned his music he was Jewish, even though he and his family had been stupid enough to convert to xian nonsense. He was "born" a Jew, so the Nazis banned his work POSTHUMOUSLY. Since you're probably so stupid you don't know what that word means, they banned his music after he was dead.
