This song reminds me of my friend Andrea that just died 4 days ago of Ana. We were both in the hospital and she ran away with only a blanket, 1$ and a knife and 2 days later they found her covered in her own blood. She was still alive but she died in the night. They tried to revive her but she was too skinny. (she was 5'5 and she weighed 73 pounds) she was my best friend.. i miss her so much. rest in peace Andrea, I love you.

I have to say THANK YOU. There's a lot of songs out there, but hardly any that can encourage people with eating disorders. Something that is just for them to hear and find courage to have a voice and know that they're not alone. I've fought with complusive over eating since I was a teenager and then when I turned 18, I began to be bulimic. I am in therapy and seeking help, but nobody understands how hard I fight and there's still going to be trials to fight through. Just take it day by day.

you can never just stop once ana gets her arms wrapped around you, she doesnt let go.once her bony hands slips over your mouth as she whispers "its not necessary" you cant be let go, she refuses to let you go. and after a while, you don't want her to. She becomes both your best friend and your worst enemy. what fun this is.
