Level 9999 is the maximum in Disgaea. By making use of the "clone wars trick" (throwing lower level enemies into a "machine" to level the "machine" up is the best way, best if using someone with no counter ability or a very weak weapon), then having this high level "machine" constantly be cloned due to the "clone" pyramid, I could reach level 9999 in about 12 hours, from level 1 (calculated estimate, based on getting the clone pyramid and an "exp+50%" pyramid on the first try each time, the fastest method). Normally, I'd have transmigrated by around 4000 to 6000 since it starts taking rather long to level up. It was part of an experiment I was doing, to see what happens with stat-raising if I stopped at 2000ish (fairly noticeable loss) and went on. I then wanted to see what level 9999 was like and what effect it had. It doesn't seem to be worth the time and effort to reach given what I saw. I guess 5000 to 7000 seems to be among the best point for a transmigration. That's about 1/4 to 1/2 of the way to the max.

  • Dude, you must really love this game to level until the 9999 and play over 800 hours...

  • I've got 1250 hours on this game and this video is very old. I have 2 characters at level 9999 with 186,000 total levels accumulated. One of those does over 20 million damage per hit with giga star.

  • @ulillillia Ok, then you must really, REALLY love this game. Do you ever play something else? ;P

  • I've got 850 or so hours on Disgaea 2 according to the game, but it's more around 950 due to all the quit and reload I do to perfect items. I have 2300 hours of play in 22 months on just 2 Disgaea games, something that no other game has come close to. If you haven't seen my other videos, you'll see that there's a lot that I play - the Final Fantasy series, Bubsy, Sonic, Mario, Vectorman 2, Virtual Pinball, Sly Cooper, Mega Man, and a wide assortment of other old games.

  • why is ur title not tyrant? xD

  • I didn't face Baal until about 845 hours on the game clock and thus, that title was impossible to get at this point.

  • Hey Ulillillia! I was just wondering, if someone were to break into your home and smash all of your memory cards, save files, etc, how would you react? Just wondering, thanks!

  • 845 hours at the time this video was recorded. I got that much play in just 5 1/3 months. Today, I have about 1250 hours on this game (the clocked maxed out a long time ago). Disgaea 2 has about the same as this but Disgaea 2 shows less because I do a lot of quit and reload from perfecting items (I have 14 perfected items with a 15th almost there). Basically, I have 2300 hours logged on 2 Disgaea games in only 22 months.

  • @Nubbed0ut how many times have you beaten a prinny god? i only did it about 8ish times so far and it costs 192k for a top transmog >.<
