"...This tune was for pure laughs and fun only, no deep musical feelings, meanings or inspiring moments intended :-)))) ...."
I can't agree goodsi and I dont know what you are pretending with that, but there, on that stage, is a band with a superb and high end way of transmit emotions, plenty of musicality and creativity...and mainly..DEEP JAZZ FEEL You are the guitar player? if yes ..you are a amazing player!! my respects.

@bitcheznhos it probably is reffering to shredding. :D

Beau jeu ,virtuosité et du swing yes !!!
-
he's a madman

isn't that Torsten Goods? He's' an incredible Musician. He's studied with Scofield, Jim Hall, birelli lagrene, and played with all the best. Not all of his playing is like this.

The guitarist's great. Takes harmonic chops to do that...

I don't know what material they were playing that night but the band doesn't sound very good backing this guy up. Electric bass and keyboards combined with a squarish drummer playing bebop....Hmmm. Call me a purist.
He can sure make the changes but all that shredding stuff kinda ruins it. I'm positive that he can use his tremendous chops in a little more musical way..Brilliant playing nevertheless. I enjoyed.

Wow, who is that guitar player? Great technique and swing. The heavy metal thing doesn't make sense, however. This is pretty "straight ahead".
Is this one of those "shred" videos?
I'd like to hear the real version
