@audioglass According to the Taylor guitar website, the 2012 314ce has a sapele back and side, and a sitka spruce top.

I've heard a lot of people say Taylors play like electrics. Is that just because of the light gauge strings? And...whoa...were you trying to sing Jewel there? :)

@van1980 The light gauge strings certainly contribute to the playability, but lately i've been playing mediums and it still plays great, the neck is just very playable.
