From what I've read about the Clinton/Gore years, because the GOP gained majority of the House seats in 94, the Dems weren't able to make any crucial changes.
I do like Gore; but as an ecosocialist, it's easy to point out the liberalism in Al's speech; "a moral issue that WE can't allow"- A very individualistic approach! It has never been a political OR ethical issue; it's the market's/a capitalist issue. Let's stop this capital growth, and bring on some transformative change! Thanks for this!

Kovel buys into the "global warming" myth, unfortunately. "Environmentalism" sometimes veers into "ecofascism," so beware.
