Anastasia - Trailer (1956)

Russian exiles in Paris plot to collect ten million pounds from the Bank of England by grooming a destitute, suicidal girl to pose as heir to the Russian throne. While Bounin is coaching her he comes to believe she is really Anastasia. In the end the Empress must decide her claim.

@sk931123 It could be taken many ways. 1.) Anna Koreff really is Anastasia but realised she wanted a life away from royalty, maybe with Bounine; 2.) Anna was a fake and knew it, felt guilty, ran away; Bounine couldn't collect money, left as well; 3.) Anna was a fake but couldn't work out if she was or not; 4) Bounine was working for Russian secret service with the intention of showing that the Romanovs still were corrupt. I like that's it's not a 'Hollywood ending'.

I think Anastasia was ok and not that great as they advertised plus the ending sucks.Bergman did not deserve that Oscar because I could not understand anything she said and she went over the top in a bad way. Yes, Brynner was gorgeous in this and good acting from him as well.
