After 45 years I recently returned to my childhood home for a day, visited with an old friend and met some new folks. Everything seemed smaller except the hills were steeper. John Prine provided a quite appropriate song for the audio. Thanks to all!!

  • I live in Fairmont. Top Hat Jack, as you call him is my brother. The hat he is wearing is now mine because he gave it to me on my birthdat. It is a shame you missed him in his real top hat. He is also know to some as $5 Jack. He is a great guitaist and soo the building in the phito will be taken over by the city and Jack will move away.

  • I was born and raised in Fairmont. I live in North Carolina now. Every time I return to Fairmont, it's changed so much. I grew up in Brackenridge, half way up the Watson Hill. Went to Fairmont West. I like to go back every once in a while, but I can't wait to get back to North Carolina.

  • Garry,

Just checked your profile. We are on the same page. I'll write you more in a email later..... JIm
