The visual images were sourced in Dublin and Meath to compliment the sound textures. I set out to record regular vertical patterns (as well as other types) which, I discovered, when I went looking for them, were to be found in abundance both in the natural and artificial (man made) environment.

The title, Sand on Silver, refers to the soundtrack. In making it I was attempting to create my own brand of Musique Concrete. The sounds are constructed from snippets of ambient recordings I made, most of which I distorted out of all recognition, it alsoincludes bodhrán and other percussion.
