Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the time to post this. I was about to experiment on this toy to see what I could do about disabling the sound when I decided to check YouTube. I was able to follow your directions and get things back working in 5 minutes. For some reason, the machine did not want to play at first, so I took the battery back out, pulled the set apart again, and then back together...did the trick. What in the world was Schilling thinking with that awful loud noise?
