Be in the Hooping Life music video by Basement Jaxx

Malcolm Stuart and Beka of ihoopu have created a choreography to the unreleased theme song "Hooping Life" by Basement Jaxx for The Hooping Life film. The filmmakers are currently working with Basement Jaxx. You can be part of it.

This is an invitation for you to be in the video by learning the choreography. We have posted 3 versions of the choreography. Check them out on our channel. And we have drills when you are stuck.

How does it work?
1/ Learn any of the three versions of the choreography that are posted on this channel.
You can also go freestyle.
2/ Film yourself doing the choreography or freestyling.
3/ Post your video online and send your link to thehoopinglifebasementjaxx@gmail.com

We will let you know.
We will be filming in Venice, CA on February 10-16 and February 27th- March 1st.

LOL I'm looking at flights! The choreo is pretty complex, but very exciting to learn. It took me over an hour yesterday to break down 3 counts of 8!!

You only need to be available for one day.

Once we have our selection, we will make a schedule.

Each hooper will have a time slot for which they will need to be available.

You can also let us know their availability (if necessary) once selected

You may want to rephrase your invitation to make it more clear that the submitted videos are an audition and the actual filming requires you to be in California. The WHD Dance video is location independent; maybe others will assume this one is, too.

Dear ElectricHoopster,

We want to include as many hoopers as possible but unfortunately, we are not a big studio with big budgets and have very limited means to make this happen. Because of the concept of the video, we have to film on a green screen high-end stage with very specific lighting. And yes, our studio is in Venice, CA. These r our constraints, we wish we could fly u in or fly our studio out to u, we just don’t have the means to do so.
