@jaredleon1 I think Steven is perfectly happy where he is now. He inspires millions in part by his expression (facial and sways). Not everyone will like him or his style, but he is reaching a whole new audience and inspiring them to LOVE what they do, and not be afraid to express that love for music.

Music has no rules, no borders, no boundaries. It's a river of sound flowing in sync with nature around it. Mr. Nelson is a master of manipulating music to his desire, and sharing what he can do with a whole new audience. I was no fan of the cello until I saw him perform PEPONI with his PianoGuys partner, pianist John Schmidt. Now I can't get enough of him!

Reading all the comments below, I have to comment myself. Some people are so stuck in the box of 'propriety' that they think that there is only one 'proper' way to do something. In music, there are no, or should be no, rules. Music inspires us, and through it we are able to inspire others. Steven isn't out there saying, "Look at me, I'm the next Yo-Yo Ma". What he's saying is fall in love with music, don't be afraid to let the music be a part of you, and above all, think outside the box.

@lorenzom21 seriously - be nice. If you want to watch without the intro, there is a 2nd upload without the intro. The intro is for the benefit of all the parents of the student musicians who don't know who Steven is. You can't blame the conductor for being excited to work with someone as cool as Steven. :-)
