My first day of snowboarding started with a push into the deep end. After plummeting down the hill a few times, I had a couple hours of lessons, and before I knew it, I was actually snowboarding!

I never understood the way they teach people to snowboard... I have taught a few people, it is much easier to practice on a steeper hill. When you stay on your heel side and learn to go right to left you need a little bit of speed and momentum, going that slow makes you loose your balance. I never understood that.
