I can't believe he actually said, "People like your plan 'cause they're getting something for nothing." How clueless. We're the ones paying for it in the first place! What's wrong with not wanting our money to be wasted? Good for you.

She makes lots of sense. She's not the only one that's been proposing that idea. Obama promised to go through the budget line by line and cut unnecessary spending, but so far all he's done is out-spend every other U.S. president by trillions! Tough times ahead, hopefully by 2012 America will wise up.

It's a fallacy to believe that the money government forcibly confiscates from American workers is used to fund SS, Medicare, or any other program. The trust funds for each of those programs went bankrupt long ago, and the government operates now on adjustable-rate loans. Just like all the speculating homeowners who got screwed recently.

Yes Bob with trillions missing out of the Bush Admin, budget we could fund healthcare, stop paying taxes for a couple of years and give out pell grants and reform the shcool system and fix social security, but that would mean the people that stole the money would have to investigate themselves and that wont happen the same way Bob and his bunch at msm wont talk about the stealing goin on.

they will NEVER get rid of themselves (fed) and the only way i see to do it is bankrupt their asses. i know this maybe a bit hypocritical but i say use and abuse every gov "loophole" we can find, get every dollar we can from them, and STOP PAYING TAXES!!!!

ill never pay fed taxes again but im going to let you the taxpayers put a new roof on my house and give me 6500 dollars thru a fed weatherization grant.

i dont pay fed income tax. the taxes are not unconstitutional simply bc they arent mandatory. 1st paragraph of irs tax code states that they are a voluntary compliance. if they werent voluntary they would break the 16th amnd of direct tax.

ask your high priced tax preparer to show you the LAW where taxes must be payed and i bet all in they cant!

Yes this is the right direction. Less taxes reduce the role of the IRS, find alternatives to the present financial system.
