My wife of 25 years was bi-polar enough to take her own life a few years ago.
This song could have very easily been me, were it not for the love of family, friends, and especially God.
Sure, you can drink your troubles away, I chose to allow mine to be loved away.
Love can conquer anything, if you are willing to let it.

@knollert Actually it's about a husband finding out his wife cheated, drinking himself to death, and the wife then drinking herself to death because of what her cheating did to her husband.

What some don't understand... it's not just the MILITARY... there ARE greater forces at work. Who do you think comes to your home in the middle of the night when you dial 911 for someone creeping around your property? It's not the Army. My husband served 8 years in the Army. He's now a police officer. Living the wife of a COP is not easy. Especially, when he goes under cover and you loose him to the battle for the greater good. It's a daily struggle to not hold the bottle to my lips.

@QMANZBXVSC They're saying that suicide isn't the solution. Are you honestly saying that that's wrong? Are you promoting people to go out and take their lives?

@knollert the girl left the guy and he became an alcoholic until one day he took his own life. The girl was still in love with the guy so when he commited suicide she became an alcoholic too until she followed his footsteps by commiting suicide too. They buried her next to him under a willow tree.
