i just upgraded from my u740 to a nexus s. i never had a problem with the hinge durability, the lock button was usless as it would activate and deactivate in my pocket/case all the time as it only needs to be pressed for half a second, the keyboard was great, i actually miss the tactile keys, i find i make more errors with the touchscreen even though the keys are bigger. the bell canada version wouldnt let you browse in landscape mode to make use of the full keyboard

I have the bell version of this phone for the past 4 years now and it has been in my lake three times now (once for 24 hours/under 20 feet), its been dropped in a bucket of used motor oil twice, i ran it over with my gmc canyon on a gravel road once and i drop it all the time and all that happens is the battery falls out.

Overall the one i have is an awesome phone and has never let me down and if this one dies (if it ever dies) i will replace it with another U740

I have this phone. It sucks. Everytime I try to send a text message it says "Please Rotate"

I have had this phone for 3 yes blah blah blah it sucks don't buy it (if you still can lol) the battery dies if left on for 24hrs so my phone is off 95% of the day and I only turn it on when I need to make calls so I miss calls all the time TERRIBLE PHONE!
