  • @NFSMWgamer It's a good plane indeed. I can't say I find the flaps annoying though. I think the A380 takes the cake on that one.

  • lol, wonder what happens when the rotors are warped really bad, or when the brakes go bye bye :), no jet engine should be without reverse and this plane should not have 4 engines lol, but its fun to watch vids of it, good clip thx

  • nice man

  • as far as I know, the Avro has just the spoilers / speed-brakes.

  • it has reverse thrust but it doesnt open up coz i fly a bae nd ino

  • my uncle flies the same plane but with british airways and it dosent have reverse thrust and my friends dad owns one of those type of planes and he said it doesnt have reverse thrust

  • I was not talking about the Avro , but commercial aircraft in general. As for this one, i've been flying a lot on it and i know it definitely doesn't have thrust reversers.

  • they dont have reverse thrust they have strong breaking power

  • If the plane is equipped with thrust reversers, they have to be used, this is mandatory in all serious airlines. It's simply a matter of safety. Some airlines though ask their pilots to use only idle reverse, for economical reasons. So you're wrong, the reversers are always used, if you don't hear them it's because the engines are running on idle.

  • Pilots don't always use thrust reversers. Iv'e been on several flights that just the speed break and the flaps were used. Thrust reversing is very hard on the engine. Though if you have a fully loaded 747, chances are they will implement it.

  • No, they just deploy to add some drag. Thrust reversers would be on the engines, not on the tail...

  • They reverse the flow of air, don't they?..

  • Those are just airbrakes, not reversers.

  • This is why it's called a STOL (Short takeoff and landing) aircraft

  • It has thrust reversers on the rear tail next to the APU

  • multi - multi engine time!

  • cool vid, good camera

  • Interesting how the BAE146 doesn't require thrust reverser to slow down. Amazing.

  • Iv'e been on a swiss air BAE146 before it was my best flight so far,ohh nice landing.

  • cool vid

  • interesting to sit under the wing
