  • Thanks for the example of the typical, kneejerk, liberal tendency towards racism. You made your point long before the "BLACK UNCLE TIME SELLOUT" comment.

  • Tell you what.

If you're just here to show how much better you are than us sell outs, learn how to spell and use proper grammar.

Then again, never mind. Then you wouldn't be authentic.

  • Oh, and you keep on supporting those you've supported for years and haven't done shit for blacks despite the promises and your sucka support.

  • Liberals are creating slavery. AGAIN! ! ! !

Enjoy working for I.O.U.'s....can you eat those?

    Liberalism is America's biggest disgrace.

  • Bob, I would gladly vote for you. It's too bad a lot of blacks hate black conservatives.

  • If they do another one, there goes the dollar

  • Oh, sorry, I genuinely meant "was considered/painted as such by his opponents".

As in, he didn't do *enough*.

  • "Hoover was the 'do nothing, no intervention' candidate."

Try looking at history. Hoover had multiple bailout policies. The fact that you said that discredits anything you have to say.

  • Actually, Hoover was the "do nothing, no intervention" candidate. As for FDR, there's still a lot of debate as to whether his policies made a difference either way, but to say that he was responsible for the Depression's length is inaccurate.

What caused the Depression was speculators who couldn't afford to lose speculating and losing.

  • ...Add that to FDR's New Deal, which expanded the Depression's length, you get the Great Depression. Government intervention only exacerbates financial decline.

  • "Look at History"

I'm sorry, but historical revisionism isn't actual history, no matter how much you want it to be.

You apparently one of those Keynesian nutjobs.

Hoover's bailout policies led to the Depression because it didn't allow for the purging of toxic assets that arose from the false growth of the 1920's. Instead of leaving the crash alone and allowing the resulting recession to run its course, Hoover inflated the bubble until it burst.

  • And where exactly did the sub-prime designation come from?

  • Stop pointing the finger of blame and suggest something that should be done about it. And no "Let's just stick our thumbs up our arses and hope it all goes away" is not a proper answer (I'm looking at you David Cameron).

    3) McCain was born to a military family. It'd be a bit dickish if he wasn't given the very thing his father was fighting to protect.
