SP2 Install error(fixed)

I HAVE FIXED IT!!!:)
If you guys get this error message just go to :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/327101/en-us
It will help you fix it.


When I try to add sp2 I get this error message:

"The Core System file (kernel) used to start this computer is not a Microsoft Windows file.
The Service Pack will not be installed. For more information, see Knowledge Base article
Q327101 at http://support.microsoft.com."

go to google and type in download windows xp service pack 3 and search 1st link down click it and it brings you up to the new version of windows xp service pack 3

no thank you. I have it on my other system. the one I have now is XP pro sp2 but 64bit and there isn't a sp3 for 64bit.

I needed it so I could install some programs such as itunes. But now with my new computer it's different because I have a 64 bit edition of windows XP which only goes up to sp2. Xp 32bit goes up to sp3. also some higher service packs can have more security features. new service packs also have new functionality support and performance updates.
