come on, mark and greg are equally awesome. personally i don't think the gutter twins didn't work as well as the twilight singers, but look at the back catalogue of mark and you can't argue with it. same with greg.

Greg is in no way playing second to Mark. Truth is he loves his buddy and know without his help Mark would be shit... so since the two sound good together why not let Mark be the front man.

yeah it was all about him. that would explain why after the whigs broke up, his first musical endeavor had numerous singers, not just him. oh and now he pretty much plays second fiddle to mark lanegan.
yeah he has an ego, but the whigs broke up cos they all live in different parts of the country
