I just didn't recognize the place anymore. I barely recognized Claremont, no clue WHY they tore down that stoop thing in front of our building, or put a fence up around all the buildings, and one down the middle of the gang way between our old building and the neighboring one that we shared a courtyard with. It made the lot look so SMALL

And Devon.... I went to the old neighbor hood a couple years ago, cut through it on my way home from a stop downtown. I drove up by where this video started and was going to go where this video wound up but it was getting late in the afternoon and I wanted to get onto the Edens before rush hour hit.

I will never understand the need to tear down old buildings with so much life and character and replace them with cold, lifeless boxes. All those new buildings are so ugly!
