  • I have to ask something how much time have you play guitar and I ask that because in playing prespective your play is just perfect. I play guitar for 4 months now and in that song I have problem on the opening in fa-do-mi-la or f-c-e-a the phrace that finishes the first page, what you sugest me to do.

Some people told me to play scales that will make my fingers more flexible they say.

  • @atzitzikas Unfortunately, there is no quick way to learn anything. The only advice I can give is to keep practicing - every day. If you're passionate about guitar then it won't seem like a chore but merely part of the experience. To answer your question: I've been playing for over 10 years, but a lot of that period (the past 6 years) has been without a teacher.

  • Thank you all for your kind words.

  • thanks, but check out the andres segovia version. he goes even faster

  • @ivan2549 lol...you're no segovia!

  • @CriterionCoIIection i'm aware of this :P i'm just saying that a faster interpretation exists

  • the speed is the hardest part the trick is to relax your fingers and just let them flow

  • Fantastic stuff

  • @gtrrobster The F natural note on the 1st string e at the 1st 1st fret actually makes this chord a G# diminished 7th chord, not a 1st inversion E7

  • Very Good, it has been a while since you publish this video, maybe you improved or not, but still i would like to recommend something. This sounded very mechanical, like a guitar pro software or a powertab, try changing wherever volume, tempo, sustain notes, it will give some of your expression. greetings and a lot of practice

  • Well done Ivan! Consistent throughout.

  • @PaddyMagic00

That chord is a stretch indeed!

It is really a 1st inversion E7 chord....so the G# in the BASS is not the ROOT (E) of the chord, but the 3rd.

    Just a detail of notation.

A good way to get your fingers to feel comfortable playing this configuration ( and there are a few 'tricks')

is to play it up 5 frets or so so the jand stretches and gets used to the awkwardness. Then work it down a fret, then another.....do this for a minute then rest hands to not strain them! you'll get it

  • Nice Job, but I'd advise you to slow down a little bit. It's not the speed that makes this piece so brilliant.

  • @ivan2549 yeah but he is also Andres Segovia though. he's a monster. i still like you're tempo its about how quick im playing it right now.
